In 1986, he joined Texas A&M University as Professor and Head of the Department of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, and was Deputy Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine. Since 1997, he has held the appointment of Professor of Feline Internal Medicine in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. His professional interests include upper respiratory and oral diseases of cats, and educational technology. He is editor-in-chief of Consultations in Feline Internal Medicine. The fifth volume was published by Elsevier in January 2006.
Dr. Debra Zoran is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Specialty of Small Animal Internal Medicine). She received her professional degree from Kansas State University, a Master of Science degree from Iowa State University, and her PhD degree in nutrition from Texas A&M University. Her professional interests include feline nutrition and its special role in obesity, diabetes mellitus, and inflammatory bowel disease, and gastrointestinal diseases of cats.
Ms. Liz Kelley is a graduate of the veterinary technician program at Tomball College. She joined the feline internal medicine service five years ago, after working previously in the Small Animal Community Practice Service of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Her professional interests include feline behavior, feline infectious diseases, and student instruction.
