Diplomate American College of Veterinary Surgeons
Dr. Kerwin received her DVM from Texas A&M in 1988 and completed a small animal internship and surgery residency at Louisiana State University. She completed her M.S. in veterinary physiology at LSU in 1993 and was on the faculty at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine until 2002. Kerwin started the small animal rehabilitation service at the college in 2002 and has completed coursework in animal rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee. She has lectured locally and nationally on small animal rehabilitation.
